A career in quilting is a career of constant learning. I started out taking as many classes as I could, from the best quilting teachers I could find.

Now, I present my own lectures and trunk shows, taking the opportunity to give back to the quilting world we all share.

Trunk Shows & lectures

My trunk show includes traditional, contemporary, art and modern quilts. I share my quilting journey with you while talking about the resurgence of quilting that began in the 1960s.

Lecture topics include how to be a successful machine quilter and history of quilting. What interests your group? I can work with you on a presentation to meet your needs.

MACHINE QUILTING CLASSES

My machine quilting classes will bring you to the next level with your skills.

You will learn the basics from how to set up your workstation for success, matching needles and threads, to how to feel confident filling space with free-motion techniques.

Each workshop is customized to meet the level of your group.

Interview at Quilt Festival in Houston with my quilt “Stargaze.”

One quilt, one person, one video camera, three minutes = another quilt story saved! "Go Tell It at the Quilt Show!" is a Quilt Alliance project designed to capture the stories of quilts where quiltmakers gather. This interview was filmed at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas in November 2016.
